Kim brings to her role an extensive resume in helping organizations that serve those with mental and behavioral health diagnoses, support the developmentally disabled in independent lifestyles, and provide early education and child care to families advance their mission internally and within the community in innovative ways. Her advocacy has helped expand programs that serve the homeless, provide culturally competent care to those who identify LGBTQIA+, and provide on-campus mental health therapy for students.
Kim, whose former employers include the Mental Health Association, Center for Human Development and Square One, joined MiraVista in August 2022. Her work includes broadening regional partnerships for easier access to mental and behavioral health services across populations, increasing awareness of services at MiraVista, and promoting community understanding of the importance of evidence-based treatment for mental illness and recovery from substance use. A runner and self-described eternal optimist, Kim is a Springfield native and graduate of Westfield State University. In addition to several Board appointments including the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts and the Western Mass Regional Women’s Correctional Center Advisory Board, she is also an appointed member of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Social Impact Pay for Performance Results Act, a Federal Commission.
