It’s apple season — and Chip’s got a tip!
What we eat nourishes more than our bodies. Healthy, regular meals can support our energy and focus and are one part of caring for our overall well-being — including our mental health.
That’s what Chip’s Tips and our Your Well-Being Matters series are all about: simple, realistic choices that help us take care of ourselves.
This month, Chip Edgar, Vice President of Food Services for The Vistas, is celebrating apple season with a Quick & Easy Baked Apples recipe. A few ingredients. A couple of minutes. And a warm taste of fall.
And if Chip has you thinking about apple picking, Massachusetts makes that easy, too. The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources reports 80+ farms offering pick-your-own apples, generally from August through November. Their statewide Pick-Your-Own resource lets you find orchards across the Commonwealth.
