It’s Tomato Season!
There’s nothing quite like a ripe summer tomato. Whether it’s from your own garden, a local farm stand, or the grocery store, tomatoes are one of the easiest ways to add fresh flavor and nutrition to your meals.
The good news? They’re good for you, too.
Tomatoes are naturally rich in vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and lycopene—an antioxidant that gives tomatoes their bright red color and has been associated with supporting heart health and protecting our cells from damage. They’re also low in calories and an easy way to add more vegetables to your day.
